Troubleshooting: bench supplies

A bench supply on USB is driven only when you ask it to be. These are the cases that surprise people.

The supply doesn't connect by itself

That's deliberate: connecting locks the supply's front panel, so it waits for you to press Connect on its card.

The supply's front panel is locked

It locks while NextProbe holds the port. Press Disconnect; the panel frees itself about 20 seconds later.

A voltage or limit is refused

It is beyond what that model can give. The card says the limit.
