Troubleshooting: in a session

A step that waits is usually waiting for you. These are the messages that come up during a session.

"Confirm the power state first"

The step needs the board in a particular power state. Read the Before you probe panel, set the board up, and press Confirm. Voice and the pedal can't confirm it.

Every powered step is locked

The board is marked as having gone in liquid, and the cleaning step isn't done yet. Finish it and press Done (Liquid damage).

The next step loads before I'm ready

Press Back during the countdown to stay. To choose the moment for every reading, turn Auto-capture off, or set Hold to 2 s, in Settings → General.

The point is hard to reach

Use Measure here on an easier pad on the same net (Measure here), or right-click a pad and choose Use this pad.

"The tree has run out" and "Offline"

The bench can't ask for the next step while signed out or offline. Sign in, check the connection and press Try again, or carry on by hand with Measure here.

Ask doesn't answer

Ask needs the bench to be signed in and online.

"Open your board file for this board to list the parts on" the rail

The short hunter takes the parts from your board file. Open it, and the offer to hunt appears.
