End a session

End session under the step card, or on the card when the tree runs out, closes a session that won't reach a fix today. Choose the outcome:

Outcome	Use it when
No fault found	Every reading was in range, or the fault did not show.
Needs a senior tech	Someone more experienced should pick it up where you stopped. They can resume it.
Abandoned	You are stopping with no outcome.

Add a line for the job sheet if it helps, then press End session. The outcome goes on the timeline and the reports. The ended card offers Back a step, which reopens the session.
