Settings → Voice sets up push-to-talk, the foot pedal, the microphone and steps read aloud.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Voice commands | Turns push-to-talk on. The first time, it asks for the microphone and downloads the speech model. |
| Push-to-talk key or pedal | The key the pedal sends, V unless you change it. Change the key, then press the pedal. |
| Pedal tap | Captures (hold to talk), or Always talks. |
| Microphone | The input to listen on, with the level of the last clip. |
| Read each step aloud | Off until you turn it on. The speaker button on the session screen does the same. |
| Speaking pace | Slower, Normal, Faster or Fastest. Hear a sample plays it. The voice itself is chosen in your computer's settings. |
